Jesus prayed all alone that night, right before they came to kill Him. He talked to His Father in heaven. Jesus was very, very sad because He knows that some men will come to get Him and nail Him to a cross. He knows that He must die so that God will not need to punish us.

He is sad because He was made as a man and did not want to die.

But he knows he has to die and is glad that He can take the punishment of the world so that we can join Him in heaven one day.
